Allan Bezanson
Executive Chair
Allan’s successful career in building and investing in high-growth companies spans over 35 years and includes extensive C-Suite and Board level (Director, Executive Chairman) experience. Notable past roles for Allan include serving as Managing Director of Nowsco (1978 – 1992), President of Oballan Capital (1997 – 2010), Managing Partner of Cornerstone Capital (2010-2014), Director of Voxtur Analytics Corp (2013 – 2021), and CEO & Director of FCF Capital where he led major investments in Polaris Infrastructure and Founders Advantage. Allan currently serves as a Director of Oxford Immune Algorithmics. Allan received a B.Comm, Finance, from Dalhousie University, with an emphasis in derivatives, credit & tax structuring.

David Cam
Executive Director
With over 35 years of experience as a founder and serial entrepreneur, including extensive experience at the Chairman & CEO levels, David’s distinguished track record is attributable to his eye for untapped opportunity and his relentless drive to deliver results across business-critical domains through visionary, strategic leadership and team building. David’s professional background includes founding and serving as the Chief Executive of Perfectus Technology, a pioneer in online legal solutions, where he led the successful commercialization of the company’s software and expanded the company’s footprint to include offices in Auckland, Sydney, London & New York. Prior to founding EnviroGold Global, David was the founder, CEO and Executive Chairman of Hydrus Technology, a Fortune 100 portfolio company that commercialized advanced wastewater treatment technology through an innovative Treatment as a Service business model while developing a multi-family intellectual property portfolio. A firm believer in “paying it forward”, David’s extensive nonprofit experience includes leadership of natural resource management programs for First Nation’s groups in Australia and the Pacific Islands.
David is a member of the Corporate Governance and Nominating Committee and a member of the Compensation Committee.

Dr. Mark Thorpe
Executive Director, CEO
With over 30 years of experience in more than 30 countries on five continents, Mark has built his career upon identifying ways to improve mining operations with an emphasis on global corporate responsibility, communities and sustainability. He has served in numerous executive roles in the extractive industry, including as Vice President of Corporate Responsibility at Torex Gold Resources, Senior Vice President of CSR and Environmental Affairs at Golden Star Resources Limited, and most recently as Senior Vice President, ESG at INV metals. In 2020, during his tenure at INV, the company’s CSR performance was recognized with the Communitas Award for Excellence. The Chair of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Mining Innovation Council, Mark has a PhD in Mine Land Reclamation from the University of Saskatchewan and an ICD.D Corporate Director Certificate from the Rotman School of Business.
Mark is a member of the Corporate Governance & Nomination Committee and a member of the Risk and Sustainability Committee.

Harold Wolkin
Independent Director
Harold is an accomplished former Canadian investment banker and financial analyst with over 30 years of industry experience. In 1983, Mr. Wolkin joined BMO Nesbitt Burns as a senior research analyst. He went on to serve as Managing Director in BMO’s Diversified Industries Group for 25 years (1983 to 2008). During this period, Harlold was involved as lead underwriter and strategic advisor for a number of Canada’s largest equity offerings and related transactions. In 2008 Harold became Executive Vice-President and Head of Investment Banking for Dundee Capital Markets. Now retired from investment banking, Mr. Wolkin serves on a number of public company boards and not-for-profit organizations, including directorships for Diamond Estates Wines & Spirits Inc. and Baylin Technologies, both of which trade on the TSX Exchange. Harold has been a member of the Chartered Financial Institute since 1980 and is a certified Chartered Financial Analyst. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from York University and a Masters of Arts in Economics and Finance from the University of Toronto. Harold is also a graduate of and a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors and has served as President of the CFA Society of Toronto.
Harold is the Chair of the Audit Committee and a member of Compensation Committee.

Bruce Higson Smith
Independent Director
Having served on the boards of 4 public companies, Bruce is a senior executive with over 40yrs of mining, metals and capital markets experience, including 25yrs of experience as a senior executive for firms including Golden Star Resources Ltd (NYSE AMEX: GSS), where he led the firm’s corporate strategy and M&A initiatives including debt and equity transactions in excess of $650M. Prior to that he was a portfolio manager for both Resource Capital Funds, and the Emerging Markets Gold Fund where he structured equity and convertible debt products for mining companies. Bruce also served as the General Manager of Golden Star’s mines in Ghana, both open pit and underground operations producing over 200,000 oz per year during his tenure. A Member (35+ years) of the Society of Mining Engineers, Bruce is currently the Chair of South Atlantic Gold, a TSX-V listed gold and copper exploration company with projects in B.C. and Brazil, and Strategic Advisor (M&A, finance, technical) to the board of directors of Federation Mines Ltd. Bruce earned an M.B.A. from Baruch College, City University of New York in 1992 and a B.Sc. (Min. Eng.), with Honours, from the Royal School of Mines, Imperial College in 1982; his post graduate education includes M&A (UCLA), Resource Estimation & Geostatistics (Snowden), Metallurgy (Colorado School of Mines), International Mining Law (University of Dundee).
Bruce is the Chair of the Compensation Committee and a member of the Audit Committee.

Philipa Varris
Independent Director
Philipa Varris has held leadership positions in environment, health, safety and community management in the mining sector for over 25 years, primarily in Africa and Australasia and across a number of mineral commodities. Philipa has been awarded the Australian Centenary Medal for leadership in Australia’s largest community consultation and strategic vision development initiative and was recognized in 2020 as one of the WIM UK 100 Global Inspirational Women in Mining. Philipa holds an MSc in Natural Resources, is a Chartered Environmental Professional with the AusIMM and is a qualified Board candidate with Corporate Directors International. Philipa is the Executive Vice President, Head of Sustainability with Golden Star Resources.
Philipa is the Chair of the Risk and Sustainability Committee and a member of the Audit Committee.

Phil Creagh
Independent Director
A founding partner and co-owner of Anderson Creagh Lai Limited, a commercial, litigation, and property law practice with offices in Auckland and Christchurch, New Zealand, Phil has deep experience across a wide range of legal areas including contract negotiation, project structuring and finance, capital raisings, balance sheet and debt structuring strategies, and EPC and construction contracts. In addition to serving as the Chairman of the Board of Anderson Creagh Lai, Phil’s governance experience includes private family office directorships, chairing and serving on the boards of charitable and member-based associations, and serving on the Board of Management of a leading Australasian law firm. Phil holds a BSc. and LLB from the University of Auckland and has completed post graduate papers requirements towards an MSc. (Psychology) together with Part 1 of a post Graduate Diploma of Clinical Psychology.
Phil is the Chair of the Corporate Governance and Nominating Committee and a member of the Risk and Sustainability Committee.

Leah Dionne

Leah Dionne is the Managing Director of Corporate Advisory Services for Partum Advisory Services Corp., a leading Vancouver corporate administration and financial reporting firm. Leah Dionne has 14 years’ collective experience working in leading Canadian law firms, and for publicly-traded companies. During her career, she has focused on securities and corporate finance and assists with managing public company listing requirements with a focus on the CSE, TSXV, NEO and TSX stock exchanges, as well as listings on the OTC Markets. Through Partum she helps clients navigate complex corporate compliance matters, financings and IPO preparations for the Canadian markets.

Zoya Shashkova
Chief Financial Officer
Zoya has over two decades of consulting and finance executive experience, spanning audit and consulting, tax structuring, risk management, reporting, disclosure, and mining finance. Before joining EnviroGold Global, Zoya was the Treasurer for Torex Gold Resources Inc., a mid-tier Canadian gold producer, where she raised over $1B in debt capital to support ongoing operations as well as long-term strategic initiatives. Her previous mining executive roles include CFO for UraniumOne’s operations in Central Asia, where she provided leadership in all areas of business and financial management, including strategic planning, performance measurement, debt financing, accounting, international tax structuring, and risk management, as well as senior leadership positions with Deloitte and E&Y. During her tenure with UraniumOne, Ms. Shashkova also served on the boards of operating joint ventures as an Audit Committee Chair.
Zoya holds a MSc in Biology and Chemistry, an MBA in Banking and Finance, is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA, US, Maine), and is an ICD.D certified director, Institute of Corporate Directors.

John Walsh
Executive Vice President
John’s success as a business leader is derived from a long and diverse career that combines highly technical, customer-facing, capital-raising and senior leadership roles. He is an expert in strategy and finance as well as an inspiring team leader.
John began his career as an oil and gas exploration geoscientist in New Orleans, LA. Over the next 30 years, John excelled in the Capital Markets Industry in senior wealth management roles with Drexel Burnham, Citi Group and UBS, as well as leadership roles (Partner) at several boutique Institutional Energy Investment Banks.
Prior to joining EnviroGold Global, John was the Chief Financial Officer of Vigilent, Inc., an early-stage technology company that creates advanced data and communications hardware and software solutions for autonomous unmanned aerial systems. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Geoscience from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, VA, and Master of Science in Geoscience (ABD) from the University of New Orleans, LA.

Juan Carlos Giron Jr.
Senior Vice President
Juan Carlos is a strategy and finance executive with over 12yrs of experience in finance, management, and strategic development. He is currently a Senior Vice President at EnviroGold Global leading capital markets and investor relations initiatives. Prior to joining EnviroGold Global he was President and Chief Financial Officer of a NYSE AMEX listed metals & mining firm. Juan Carlos began his career in UBS’s International Division (NYSE: UBS), a world – leading provider of financial services. He is a skilled communicator with strong foundations in strategic planning, financial modeling, agile management techniques, market intelligence and compliance. As the Principal of Process Alpha Consulting, Juan Carlos has provided management consulting and strategic development services to emerging businesses in multiple sectors. He is passionate about strategic philanthropy and is the Vice President of FridayHarbour.org, a Texas-based 501(c)(3) providing free housing to cancer patients and affected family members.

Brock Hill
Chief Technology Officer
Brock has extensive international experience in the mineral development and energy resources industries across alkali earths, industrial minerals, cement, lime, copper, uranium, lead, zinc, gold, iron ore, coal and coal chemicals, and alumina. His career includes senior positions with KBR and WorleyParsons where he focused on beneficial re-use of formation water derived from coal seam gas for each of the four major LNG projects being constructed in Gladstone.

Ian Hodkinson
Chief Geologist
Ian has over 40 years mineral exploration and open pit/underground mining experience across a broad range of metalliferous commodities. His recent roles include Geology Manager with Auctus Resources’ Mungana and King Vol operations in North Queensland and Exploration Director with Murrumbo Ltd managing grassroots exploration programs in the Tanami Desert. Previous senior geological positions also include Chief Geologist (Queensland) with Kagara Ltd, Geological Superintendent at Eloise Mine for Barminco Ltd, Chief Geologist with SMC Resources at Hadleigh Castle Mine and Chief Geologist with Mt Leyshon Gold Mines.

Mike Norred

Mike Norred is a senior mining executive with over 40 years of experience in the metals and mining sector as a senior manager, lead mine engineer and qualified person. Mike is an expert in mine modeling, process development, strategic mine planning, mine operations and geostatistics. He has extensive experience managing mining-related disclosure requirements for listed mining companies. Mike is currently the Director of Strategic Planning and Resource Development at Comstock Mining (NYSE AMEX: LODE) and the President of Techbase International, a mining technology firm. Mike is a graduate of the Colorado School of Mines where he was recognized as Young Alumnus of the Year.
J. Paul Austin III

J. Paul Austin III is an experienced senior executive, management consultant, advisor, board member and capital markets leader. From 2010 – 2019, Paul was Managing Director of BlueArc Capital Management’s hedge fund strategies. Prior to this, he spent seven years as Chief Investment Officer of Beach Capital Management, the investment office of Mr. S. Daniel Abraham. Paul began his career at Goldman, Sachs & Co. after receiving his degree in finance from the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he graduated with Highest Honors and has served as a member of the board of Trustees for the Georgia Tech Alumni Association. Paul is CEO of Bespoke Quantitative Strategies in the US, a partner at Bopu Capital Management in Hong Kong and serves on the board of Rabun Gap Nacoochee Schools.
Elaine Barkdull-Spencer

Elaine Barkdull-Spencer is an experienced Chief Executive and business leader with an expertise in leading comprehensive stakeholder engagement and public relations initiatives. Elaine has served as the CEO of the Elko Area Chamber of Commerce and as the Executive Director of the Elko County Economic Diversification Authority and has led historical preservation initiatives as the General Manager of Nevada state-owned V&T Railway Commission. She is currently the Principal of Zephyr Communications Services.
Malcolm Smith
Executive Strategy & Capital Markets
Mr. Smith is CEO of West Harbour Capital, where he oversees the organization’s merchant banking activities and provides a variety of corporate finance services including capital-raising, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, business development, as well as restructuring and due diligence.
Mr. Smith has over 25 years of experience in capital markets on both the sell-side and buy-side. Prior to founding West Harbour Capital, he was the CFO, CCO and a financial analyst at EdgeHill Partners, an independent, specialized manager of alternative investment strategies. At EdgeHill Partners, he was responsible for operations, evaluating investment opportunities and managing the currency hedging program for the funds. EdgeHill Partners grew from a start-up investment manager to a successful nationwide and offshore fund distribution company. Prior to this, he worked for Salida Capital, National Bank Financial and First Marathon Securities. Mr. Smith holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Saint Mary’s University.
Ron Leiken CEM, QEP
Ron Leiken is a distinguished environmental professional with 30 years of experience leading environmental and EHS compliance, permitting and sustainability initiatives in the metals, mining, resource development, and manufacturing sectors. Ron has extensive experience in key US mining districts including Nevada, Arizona and California. He has successfully permitted many complex projects in these jurisdictions and other states. He is a senior Environmental Manager at Equinox Gold (NYSE AMEX: EQX), and has recently held roles including Director of Safety, Health and Environment for Comstock Mining (NYSE AMEX: LODE), Senior Manager-Permitting for SSR Mining/Marigold Mine and Corporate Environmental/Regulatory Affairs for Ormat Technologies.
